Razorfish Prove Too Sharp For Brave Swingers

Placed second and third, both teams with a perfect record there could only be one winner last Thursday, and Razorfish proved just too much for Crayon over the fast-paced match.

Having gone behind after the first couple of innings, Crayon pulled themselves back into contention in the 3rd, but despite consistent pitching and another great team performance in the field by the Swingers, Razorfish were able to slowly edge away to take the match beyond Crayon’s reach in the final innings.

Captain Emily Churches commented “Razorfish has been the toughest and  most serious competition for us so far. Despite this, Crayon stepped up to them and we showed them how to field, giving them no runs on a couple of innings. Again, I was very proud of great team morale and sportmanship”

It should also be mentioned that three of the team were scouted for a potential trip to America with the league’s rookie team. Top stuff.
